Keenan Allen Doesn't Practice Friday: Chargers Injury Report

In troubling news, Keenan Allen was downgraded from getting in a limited practice session Thursday to a DNP Friday. Allen's status didn't appear to be in much doubt before today, but getting downgraded late in the week is never a good sign. He appears genuinely questionable to play and it may come down to a game time decision. For what it's worth, coach Anthony Lynn said he's "hopeful" Allen will play, but was purposefully vague.

Right tackle Joe Barksdale and defensive tackle Corey Liuget both missed practice as well and seem 50/50 to play. If any of those three miss the game it will be a pretty huge loss. Melvin Gordon is listed as questionable but has practiced each day and will definitely start. The Chargers aren't exactly the picture of health but they're a lot better off than this week's opponent the Denver Broncos, who enter the game with multiple injuries to key players.
