Chargers Claim Hayes Pullard, Waive Nick Dzubnar

Another roster move on a busy day for the Chargers: the team announced they've claimed LB Hayes Pullard off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars, and waived LB Nick Dzubnar to make space on the roster. Pullard played for current Chargers defensive coordinator Gus Bradley in Jacksonville the past two seasons, where Bradley was head coach. The USC product tallied 33 tackles across 24 games in Jacksonville. He originally entered the league as a 7th round pick of the Browns in 2015. He's a great athlete but has been knocked by scouts in the past for his lack of big playmaking ability.

Dzubnar originally signed with the Chargers in 2015 as an UDFA out of FCS school Cal Poly, and played extensively on special teams that year.
